Senior Product Designer at Hasbro
Sean Carmine Isabella is a Senior Product Designer on Transformers at Hasbro. He designs many of his favorite childhood characters and builds new play experiences for the next generation of thinkers and explorers. Before he worked on heroic robots battling the forces of evil, Sean designed toys for brands such as Littlest Pet Shop, Easy Bake Oven, Dizzy Dancers and FurReal Friends – and secured a patent in the process.
Prior to Hasbro, Sean designed LED lighting fixtures at Philips and created footwear for New Balance. Always a sharer of knowledge, Sean has been an instructor at MIT’s Toy Lab. He studied at Hochschule Anhalt, Bauhaus and graduated from RIT with a BFA in industrial design.
Sean credits watching animated robots battle, blasting bad guys on his NES, and gazing at the silver screen as spaceships ignited the stars for the fate of the galaxy for inspiring him to be a creator of experiences.
Transformers Power Surge Optimus Prime
“I had the amazing experience of spending time with the one and only voice of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, during a special event at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. We shared stories about how much we love being a part of the Transformers family and how excited we are to continue to build play experiences and stories for Transformers kids and fans around the globe.”
